Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina had its highs and lows. While the location and beach access were great, my initial experience with the room cleanliness was disappointing. The staff had both shining moments and frustrating interactions, such as being turned away for an upgrade due to booking through a third party. Overall, this hotel has potential, but improvements in housekeeping and service management are needed.
Our stay had some ups and downs. The front desk staff, especially Jean, was great and worked hard to compensate us after some initial hiccups. However, we faced several issues, from a broken washer to a room that wasn’t what we booked, which was frustrating. On the bright side, we enjoyed complimentary breakfast and a hot chocolate bar, which were lovely touches that added some joy to our stay. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I would consider going back.
During our stay at this resort, we were excited about the amenities, but the experience fell short. The room we stayed in was incredibly small and had a dated feel. On the plus side, we enjoyed the pools and the convenient water taxi service to Charleston. Unfortunately, the breakfast options were overpriced, and overall, the room left much to be desired in terms of comfort and cleanliness for the money we spent.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the staff was some of the friendliest I've met and the location was convenient, the cleanliness of my room left a lot to be desired. The amenities were also lacking, impacting the overall value for money. I enjoyed the beautiful views, but I found myself disappointed with the state of the facilities and limited dining options.
